Sean Manaea had a spectacular game against the ace Aaron Nola who the mets hit well. Pete Alonso gets the Mets going with a homerun in the 2nd inning. Game 4 is tonight, October 9th.

New York Yankees drop game 2 against the Royals to tie up the series 1-1. Carlos Rodon struggles early including bad offensive performances from Gleyber Torres, Aaron Judge & Juan Soto. Strong bullpen performance was not good enough to pick up the victory.

In the biggest news of the week, New York Jets fire Robert Saleh after the loss in London. Drama continues in the Jets organization, Nathaniel Hackett & Aaron Rodgers will not be split up. How's Mike from Bayonne feeling about this news?

New England Patriots drop a game against the bad Miami Dolphins which led to Jerod Mayo announcing that is Drake Maye time next week against the Houston Texans. Does the Backbone agree with this?

Edwin Diaz battles back from a bad 8th inning to help the Mets clinch with a strong 9th.

The New York Yankees have plenty of rest to wait for their matchup either against the Baltimore Orioles or the Kanas City Royals.

The New York Jets & Aaron Rodgers drop a bad game at MetLife Stadium against the Broncos. This was a bad weather game, couldn't get Breece Hall going and Garrett Wilson continues to struggle.

Hurricane Helene has crushed a lot of Florida, Georgia and more in that area, our condolences go out to them.

New York Jets & Aaron Rodgers do just enough to sneak a win away from the Titans 24-17. Rookie Braelon Allen scores 2 touchdowns with also Breece Hall adding one to beat Will Levis & the Tennessee Titans.

The New York Giants are not expected to win a lot of games this year but this could’ve been one of them. Jayden Daniels & Brian Robinson lead the way to beat the New York Giants 21-18 in a disappointing loss where the Giants kicker got hurt and possibly lead to the loss.

New England Patriots lose in OT 23-20. Geno Smith leads the way with 327 passing yards. The Pats had a chance in late game to win the game with a field goal but got blocked. Keion White is the stand out player of the week for the Patriots again with 1.5 sacks, 5 pressures and 7 tackles.

The New York Yankees win the series against division rival Boston Red Sox. Gerrit Cole intentional walks Rafael Devers with no men on in a questionable call. Aaron Judge says don’t miss and had a huge home run on Sunday!

The New York Mets have one of the biggest series of the year against the Philadelphia Phillies but drop the series. Most importantly, Francisco Lindor says everything looks good. David Peterson pitches a gem in game 3 but the mets bats couldn’t do enough to get the job done. The Mets bullpen is the biggest question mark coming down to playoffs.

Mike from Bayonne breaks down what he saw in the New York Jets game against the San Francisco 49ers. Without Christian McCaffrey, the 49ers pick up 150+ rushing yards. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets could not keep up with their offense and battled a tough defense at home. 49ers beat Jets 32-19.

Charles tawks New York Giants and Daniel Jones. Does Charles have a different perspective after Week 1 about his team and QB? Sam Darnold and the Vikings put together a great offensive performance. Vikings beat the Giants 28-6.

New Season, New Tawk! It’s the greatest time of the year. This is the time where there are the most sports being played at the same time. We still have baseball going on but also football, hockey and basketball coming up.

The New York Yankees are only a .5 game out of 1st place but they do need to get a lot together before playoffs start. Gleyber Torres needs to stay hot. The back end of the bullpen needs to heavily improve and Clay Holmes needs to get out of town. Jasson Domínguez is a missed opportunity on developing this young talent.

On the other side, the New York Mets are .5 game out of the wild card and remain hot. Leading the charge is Francisco Lindor who absolutely raked in August. Even though Edwin Diaz has been struggling, we’ve got great pitching from others like Danny Young, Phil Maton, Jose Butto and David Peterson leading the way.

Football season is HERE! The boys break down what they expect from the 2024-2025 NFL season. New York Giants start their season against a question mark QB Vikings team but with key star players still that can be game changing. The New York Jets open their season against the 49ers on Monday Night Football where Aaron Rodgers will once again lead his team out to the field.

Now that the Backbone is a regular. We will be talking New England Patriots. They open their season against the Bengals where Jacoby Brissett got the nod for QB1 Week 1.
