    On this Christmas eve episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is going over his biggest Buffalo Bills takeaways after watching back the film from their too-close-for-comfort 24-21 victory over the New England Patriots to improve to 12-3 on the season. Let's be honest---the Patriots are pretty much hopeless for the time being, came into the game at just 3-11 and lack the talent to play with the better teams in the league. The expectation was the Bills would win this game with ease and as things turn out, that was anything but the case. Truth is it's hard to win in the NFL any week and good teams sometimes struggle with and even lose to bad teams. The Bills were able to narrowly escape with a victory and Patrick goes over several reasons why. On the positive side Patrick talks about James Cook being the best player on the field for Buffalo on Sunday him coming up big yet again. Also, Dorian Williams was fantastic and Greg Rousseau made the big plays that big time edge rushers make. Fortunately that was enough to carry them to a victory because there was a lot that went wrong. Among that discussed is Kaiir Elam and Baylon Spector's woeful days, part of a defense that is without question overly relying on turnovers to make up for a lot of deficiencies. Things weren't all that much better with the passing game on offense either--just an all around sloppy game. Patrick also has thoughts on how Sean McDermott should and probably will handle the roster if they're locked into the second seed before taking the field next Sunday against the Jets.     On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens shortly after the Buffalo for tons of live instant reaction following the Buffalo Bills narrowly hanging on to beat the New England Patriots, 24-21. It was anything but pretty on a fridge Sunday at Highmark Stadium. The Bills offense didn't play well and the defense wasn't great either. However, they did force three second half turnovers including a defensive touchdown and it proved to be the difference in the game. The guys talk about a Bills team that looked overconfident, unprepared and possibly uncomfortable in the elements.     On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran has a full preview of the Buffalo Bills taking on the New England Patriots Sunday at Highmark Stadium, including Bills biggest keys to victory as well as three bold predictions and a stab at the final score. The Bills are looking good at 11-3 right now and having beat both Kansas City and Detroit already on the back half of their schedule. After a string of games against very tough opponents the Bills return home to play one of the worst teams in the league both in terms of their record and talent. Patrick talks about how life's good for MVP frontrunner Josh Allen and the Bills organization right now but let's also not forget the Patriots were crappy last year as well but managed to hand Buffalo a four point loss. For New England it's all about the future with their talented rookie quarterback Drake Maye, who drew many comparisons to Allen coming into the draft. The Patriots are 3-13 and Patrick describes the details of a roster that's quite frankly, just as lousy on paper as they are in the standings. From there it's on to the biggest Bills keys to a victory and this week's pretty simple: not making this the week they decide to start turning the ball over, not letting New England get the run game going and not taking the game itself for granted, with Patrick pointing out several great teams that have already lost or nearly did to inferior competition at home. That plus three bold predictions including a pair of them being VERY bold, a few minutes railing on the Buffalo Sabres a little more, homage to a Buffalo broadcasting legend and plenty more.
