During the 2024 Naval Science and Technology Symposium, Dr. Stephen Phillips had the honor of speaking with the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition, The Honorable Nickolas Guertin. Stephen Phillips interviews Erhard Koehler from the Maritime Administration (MARAD) to discuss the Nuclear Ship Savannah. A National Historic Landmark, Savannah was envisioned by President Dwight D. Eisenhower as part of his "Atoms for Peace" initiative.
