Episode 305 of The Primrose Chronicles introduces a new component to its story library - the first of several occasional tellings about “Things Only Baby Boomers Remember”.
It’s a long way from today’s Smart Phones to Rotary Dial desk sets and land lines of yesteryear, including activities long past for placing and receiving calls.
With a smile, those long past experiences are recalled with the necessary explanation and clarification necessary for the understanding of Gen X, Gen Z and even some Millennials in the listening audience.
    Enjoy!!!

Episode 304 of The Primrose Chronicles has finally dropped, with a tale about 1950’s & 60’s teen dances & the brutal hesitance of gangly, awkward and self-conscious boys to learn the seemingly dance du jour,
At least for one teen, it was a harrowing but necessary ordeal.
As you listen, I hope you find it humorous and just a bit memorable as well.
    In any case, enjoy.
It was a long time coming!!!

    Blessings!!

A favorite TPC Episode of season two was the “Characters of the Chronicles” interview with Bob Basler, author of the online literary work, 5 AM Stories.
He was one of The Chronicles creator& host’s closest childhood buddies from the Ol’ Neighborhood & is now a good friend after reconnecting over the last several years.
When he first joined the TPC mike back in May of 2023, his entertaining weekly post had just launched to a small but appreciative readership and our back & forth was memorable and great fun.
TPC Episode 303 catches up with Bob after 70+ posts with over 60,000 downloads, easily found by googling “5am Stories” or going straight to the website , robertbasler.substack.com
But with this TPC Show you’ll hear from Bob off the cuff, guided, often unsuccessfully by the host.
Again the conversation is lively & at times a bit off center, reflected by the variety & scope of topics that arise and the subsequent observations voiced.
    It’s a most enjoyable & entertaining listen.

It’s been 5 months since the host & narrator of The Primrose Chronicles brought the curtain down on Season Two.
Questions surrounding the launch ofSeason 3 became multiple as new episodes were delayed & faithful listeners began to wonder if a return of the tales, yarns, stories & interviews might ever re-appear.
This is that long-awaited or, at least, slightly wondered about first installment answering questions regarding Marty’s break from broadcasting.
It is unlike any other chapter of the TPC project to date, so take a listen, & share your feedback.
The hope is you’ll enjoy it.
    Blessings

It’s another Character of the Chronicles conversation. This time We hear from a someone who knew one of Rock & Roll Radio Royalty in Indianapolis — the eldest son of WIBC’s Bouncin’ Bill Baker, Art Baker.
Art shares stories & reflections of his father, not just the zany personality of his morning show, but also the hard work & long hours devoted, The result, I think, provides a rich opportunity to appreciate what Bill Baker meant to so many whether on the air, at the sock hops or battles of the bands.
An important announcement about The Primrose Chronicles’ future comes at this episode’s conclusion.

    Enjoy.

In response to inquiries by faithful fans, Episode 226steps away from tales and talks about the Old Neighborhood & takes a deep dive into the numbers that comprise the TPC fan base, & the possible places & personalities behind them.
It’s a light-hearted, tongue-in-check consideration of what kind of folks might listen in week to week.
Some might even be surprised by the breadth of this little effort’s appeal.
It’s a little shorter offering, so no excuses.

Episode 225 of The Primrose Chronicles takes the listener on a different kind of jaunt back to what some call “the Good Ol’ Days”.
Three ladies, life long friends, who gather together, around a figurative “kitchen table” to talk about those days and in the process reflect on what has kept them close over the years.
On the surface it’s girl talk, go a little deeper and you catch the principles of Friendship that are hard to describe, harder to replicate.
Listen in on this wide reaching look back. There will be smiles, and knowing nods and probably even a chuckle or two as you listen.
    So please do!
    Enjoy!!
