    Hello, hello!This month I decided to sit with the idea of what should be included in these episodes, and I really got clear that I don’t just want to recap. I have a plan, but I also want to know what would be most helpful for you! What parts of my journey, or mindset, or affirmations, etc. are the most helpful for you when they pop up - I’d love to include more of them! Today, I would love if you could drop a comment to tell me what that is for you!My plan is to dive deep into how I worked through the mindset on one big thing, because I think so many people benefit from step-by-step examples, and then recap the past month, state clearly my goal-within-a-goal focus for the next month, etc. and occasionally including the weekly update if there won’t be a separate post for the week the episode is being released. This month I walked through my process of using the 7 Layers Deep Method to work through the mindset that was creating the illogical behaviour of not doing what it would take to manifest my desire… to become a published author (my #1 goal I am suspending disbelief about this year! Go check out my full list of goals in the post tied to episode one of the next chapter, here).Limiting beliefs that showed up/were worked through:Pssst, I go into detail on why these showed up and how I worked through the mindset of them and created new beliefs, in the episode - make sure you listen!Layer 1: I didn’t think a book could bring wild success - that was for the lucky few. Layer 2: It will take too long and I don’t know how I’ll survive financially until it’s done if I focus on it now.Layer 3: I can’t focus enough and I have too many other things to do to put that much focus on it, so again, it will take forever. (this one seemed so true, it actually broke into the next three/had three parts I applied as layers)Layer 4: I have ADHD and “I can’t focus enough”. Layer 5: My kids. I can’t control their interruptions, I can’t ignore them, I WON’T choose not to focus on them, etc. The math on how much uninterrupted time I actually have was mind-boggling!Layer 6: I have too many other things to do (and not enough time to do it all)Layer 7: If I completely stop every other business activity for 15 business days to 2 months… what if I lose the clients I do have? Wow, right? That method is so powerful and I really do need to use it more.There are no more excuses. I have an answer for every single thing I can think of. So… It’s time to write my book.Recap of last month:* #1 thing that’s working for me right now… slowing down to speed up. Allowing this slow down to continue has brought me SO much clarity in EVERY single way. And the clearer I get, the more I move forward with almost NO effort.* #1 thing that’s not working/I’m letting go of… scattered energy and focus. Where our attention goes, energy flows. To move forward, I needed to pick one lane (which I did).* Weekly reflection posts recap, for anyone not reading the posts, here’s what happened the first few weeks of this month…* Week one: I basically challenged the universe in the first monthly episode, so it was no surprise that the universe gave me a challenge this first week! Things were bumpy, and I specifically mentioned how the book would have to wait for last.* Week two: I got more into my groove and belief, and more actively practicing SUSPENDING disbelief. I received the first download about my book, and started writing it, with a miraculous synchronicity showcasing it’s kick off (go read all about that here), and overall, I had to eat my words that the book would be last (lol).* Week three: Hilariously almost named my main character after a person whose name I had seen recently, by accident, and had to change it when I realized. Read that story here. Wrote ferociously several times, and realized I had tripled my writing speed since coming to Substack.* Most significant thing of note in the last month is definitely starting my book!One thing I wanted to share this week but won’t be doing a weekly recap this week, has been a new question I’ve been asking myself lately: “Who do I have to become to…”. No matter what you are trying to accomplish, this is a great way to figure out how to get there! I shared a couple examples in this episode.This first month of the next chapter of suspending disbelief has been wildly insightful. I am loving the format of my check ins, in writing. I am loving the lowered expectation so that I’m not beating myself up because I don’t show up daily. And I am super excited, because especially since this is the LAST month of the school year for my kids, and therefore the last month of my three hour a day minimum availability to write until the end of the summer, I am choosing NOW to be when I write my book. That is going to be my ONLY suspending disbelief and business goal focus this next month, and beyond, until the first draft is done.Scary. Exciting. And I know it’...

    Hello, hello!Welcome to the second round of Suspending Disbelief, a challenge I took in April of 2024 to suspend disbelief for 365 days and share my raw journey of it for the entire year EVERY DAY.I didn’t maintain the EVERY DAY part all the way through, although I DID for a really good chunk of it. You can go binge those at any time, on any podcasting platform.In prepping for this episode, I of course decided to listen to the ORIGINAL episode that sparked my entire first year challenge of suspending disbelief. Link to that: I wanted to re-glean some of the affirmations, etc. which I gleaned originally from this episode, because at the beginning I was REALLY using them a lot and it was really powerful. I talked all about them in this episode and dove in deeper, but I will also list them here for you!I will also list some of the ones I created or picked up throughout the last year outside of that episode, as well as some that I never mentioned in the original year but which I have been using consistently more recently, to align my life and business.The ones I got from her/the episode:* Where you currently are is your worst case scenario. * What if I lived my life as if my prayers had already been answered or my dreams had already come true? What if I lived my life as if my success was inevitable? What would happen if I suspended all my doubts for just 1 year of my life? What if I lived my life as if the law of attraction were absolutely real and I had no doubts about it at all?* “My Success is Inevitable and I am ALWAYS on the Right Path”* The universe works in the 11th hour* She started her original round of this in May as well - spring is definitely the time for new goals and new seeds to plant, not the new year! And the first evidence she saw - major evidence - that it was working… was not until new years eve. So like 8 months! * You have to keep going until you hit the tipping point. HOLD THE FAITH UNTIL YOU DIE😂.* Important question: Are you willing to go 6 months or more in suspending disbelief without results in exchange for your dream life? * This is not a quick fix, there is a lot of inner work to be done. This process is SIMPLE but not easy. Remember that!The ones I came up with or discovered in the in between,* As I heal myself I heal the collective* Hold space for the world to keep spinning on it’s own* Electrons - Jess’s explanation of how manifestation works through the lens of an atom.* My success is already here - living in the gratitude rampage mentality. Appreciating contrast for the perspective it gives* My before bed manifestation process, asking for the specific things I am manifesting, in writing, and to be opened to receive them in the most aligned way, giving them to my guides as a task to support with.* Universal breadcrumbs* The Big Leap book (Find it on Amazon here)* Einstein time (I always have enough time to do everything I need and want to do)* Manifesting past the deadline - Amanda FrancisThe questions I’ve been using lately that have been really impactful:* What am I currently automating, systematizing, or aligning with my big vision?* Is what I’m working on today moving me closer to the business model I want, or is it just keeping things running and maintaining the past version of my business that I am supposed to be moving away from?* How am I making today stand out? How is it special? Is it going to be worth remembering?As I said in the last episode of the first year, I am getting way more focused and specific in The Next Chapter! I’ve decided on 3 specific things to focus on calling in to my life through the next 365 days instead of the big long laundry list I created last time.* I am going to publish my first book. By May 1 of 2026 I will have conceptualized, outlined, written, edited, and published the damn thing. The end, no ifs ands or buts.* I am going to create a business model that supports my life and my dreams so that I am enjoying the TIME and FINANCIAL freedom I truly desire, now. This business model looks like: * I am recreating the programs I run that demand my presence and time, to be run without me there, almost, if not entirely. * I get to create and function on my natural schedule and rhythm and support my children in doing the same, while making plenty of money. * I am going to specifically build up my passive, evergreen income, stacking all the layers, automating all that I possibly can, and trusting that I can get by financially as I do so, until the point where…* I am going to pay off all my debt and have a savings account with 3-month’s worth of my expenses set aside in case of emergency.Wrap up:This podcast is going to stay REAL and raw, but as I mentioned last time I will only be doing a MONTHLY live update and reflection as an audio/written combo episode, and then I will also do 3-4 written posts per month.I changed the name of the podcast from “Suspending Disbelief - A Challenge - 365 Days of My Raw Journey” to ...
