North Carolina heads to the KFC Yum Center to start 2025 with their first ACC road game taking on the Louisville Cardinals. The Tar Heels dug themselves another first-half hole and worked to dig out again, but couldn't get over the hump thanks to poor end-of-game execution. After strong performances against Campbell, both Elliot Cadeau and RJ Davis struggled. The standouts for UNC were freshmen Ian Jackson & Drake Powell.
