Today, on Karl and Crew, we discussed the importance of being rooted in the Lord and His Word. We turned to Psalm 1, which compares a child of God to a tree. A child of God is considered a tree planted by the waters, has flourishing leaves, yields fruit in their season, meditates on the word day and night, and their nourishment comes from God. The chapter then speaks about the ungodly and how its tree is weaker, taken by the wind, and will perish because it's not rooted in Him.
