Join Virginia and Stine as they interview Dr. Yessenia Guglielmi. She is a Mexican American mental health therapist from NJ who works with clients from diverse backgrounds. Yessenia talks about perimenopause, spiritual awakening, Mexican culture, magical realism and finding wonder in the most ordinary. She is a mother, writer, professor, and works in higher education at Urban College of Boston. As a writer she published her first book in 2016 under her pen name Lucina Stone. She continues to publish short stories and is currently working on two novels. Her dissertation titled: White Magic: The Intersection and Application of Magical Realism And Transpersonal Psychology is a sharing of personal and creative stories that explores her journey with intuition, writing, and transpersonal exploration as an experiencer. Yessenia enthralls us with her story about how an angel appearing in her dreams inspired her to write her first book.
