• 🎥 Part 4: Betrayed, Locked Up Again & Parenting From Prison – The Story of Andre Willis
    Jun 25 2025

In Part 4 of this gripping series, Andre Willis shares the heartbreaking and humbling chapter of his third trip to prison—this time, after being set up by a close friend of 30 years. Despite saving this man's life during their first bid together, Andre trusted him with a favor that turned into a setup. The friend requested a drug order and took it directly to the DEA, proving just how dangerous it is to do favors when the stakes are high.

Andre reflects on the pain of letting his family down once again, especially having to leave behind his 9-year-old daughter. Though the betrayal runs deep, he owns the consequences and places the responsibility on himself, not shifting the blame to anyone else. With 9 children, 15 grandchildren, and a broken relationship with his oldest daughter, Andre speaks candidly about the emotional cost of incarceration.

This time around, Andre is focused on staying constructive—he plans to write a book from prison and create resources to help guide the youth, especially those at risk of repeating cycles of trauma and poor choices. He dives deep into the complexities of parenting from prison, urging free parents to let incarcerated parents still play a role in their children’s lives. “Kids want to feel connected,” he says. “We have to work together to make sure that happens—even from behind bars.”

Andre also challenges the mindset of blaming others for our situations, saying bluntly: "Stop blaming white people for our problems." He speaks about environmental change, accountability, and what it means to really transform. He drops this wisdom:

“What you live, you learn. What you learn, you practice. And what you practice, you become.”

This is not just a story about prison—it’s a lesson in choices, community, parenting, and change.

📢 Watch, share, and take in the wisdom of a man determined to turn pain into purpose.

  • The Untold Story of Andre Willis – From Business to the Streets (Part 1)
    May 7 2025

In this powerful interview, Andre Willis shares his incredible journey from being a promising athlete to navigating the harsh realities of the streets in the 1980s. His story is one of resilience, survival, and betrayal, taking viewers through both personal triumphs and devastating losses. At just 9th grade, Andre's life took a major turn when his mother was sentenced to 50 months in prison, leaving him to navigate the world without her. After high school, he enlisted in the National Guard, but it was his entrepreneurial spirit that led him to start a janitorial business with the help of his mom and grandmother. However, in 1988, a tragic car accident caused by his sister led to the loss of his business and eventually left Andre homeless with only $500 to his name.

Despite the hardship, Andre’s path took a sharp turn when his cousin introduced him to flipping money, which led him into the world of drugs. Andre quickly rose through the ranks, starting by selling 1/4 kilo a day and eventually moving as much as 20 keys every two weeks. While many in the game got caught up in the system, Andre managed to avoid any legal trouble. His business empire grew larger than his friend, Julius, could supply, and soon Andre was handling the street side of their operations, while Julius took over the business side. Andre’s ventures weren’t confined to the streets—he also successfully opened clubs like Dominique’s 21, later rebranded as Deion’s 21, and Zazu’ Comedy Club in Buckhead, Georgia, along with The Parrot Jazz Club on Peachtree Street, later renamed The Shark Bar. However, his life took another tragic turn when a lawsuit caused him to lose The Parrot. A new club, Phoenix, was on the verge of opening when Julius, his close friend, was murdered outside of Andre's mother’s driveway, leading to a series of events that would forever change his life.

Soon after Julius’ murder, Andre was picked up by police and entangled in a complicated web of legal issues. At the same time, Fred Tokars, a prosecutor who had secretly been laundering money through Andre’s business ventures, became a key figure in Andre’s downfall. Eventually, Andre found himself set up for the murder of Tokars' wife and children, even as he tried to clean up his operations and go legit. This interview dives deep into Andre’s rise from business success to his involvement in the drug trade, the tragic betrayal of his friend Julius, and the corrupt system that he had to navigate in order to survive.

Stay tuned for Part 2, where Andre continues his story of survival, redemption, and the fight for justice.📢 Watch, share, and engage in the conversation about a life lived in the shadows.
