This episode looks into how diet plays a huge role in our mental and physical health, both in people and animals. How do toxins affect us? Is a detox worth it? What steps can we take to improve our diets in our everyday lives so that we can live at peak condition?

Even as a young child, I had an avid interest in nature. As soon as I was old enough to travel, I took part in global conservation projects from turtle conservation in Mexico to spider monkey rehabilitation in Bolivia. After studying Zoology and Biology at Cardiff University and an MSc in Palaeontology at the University of Bristol, I worked in natural history television for 15 years on series such as Blue Planet II.

Through my own health struggles and successful transformation, I discovered an interest in alternative therapies including reiki, meditation and yoga.
