    Are you enlightened?

Enlightenment means to see, to shine on, to brighten, or illuminate.

Ephesians 1 tells us that the eyes of our hearts can be enlightened to know the hope that God has called us to!

We can be enlightened to know God, to understand that He calls us to a life of hope!

I think of my son when he was little, crying in his crib, feeling alone in the dark of his little bedroom. He would call out for us. The moment that we walked in the room and we turned on the light, he would settle into peace. And we’d say, “Here we are. Here we are.”

This is the hope that we’re called to. Do you hear God saying to you, “I’m here”? Let Him enlighten your heart today.

Always remember there is hope with God.

"I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance." Ephesians 1:18

  • Let Him Tend You
    Jun 18 2025
When you pay attention to something, and you invest time to nurture it, it prospers!

If you tend to a tree, it bears fruit, right?

But in contrast… When something is abandoned and neglected, it decays, and it becomes a deplorable sight to look at…especially to the one who is responsible— the one who was supposed to tend it.

The Lord will care for you if you let Him. So, let Him! Ask God to come and draw you close to Himself. Ask Him to tend you and help you flourish like a well-tended tree so that you will bear fruit. He’s ready to do it, and He longs to do it— to take care of you. But He’s not invasive. The choice is yours to make.

Will you choose today once and for all the abundant life that God has for you?

Always remember, there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau.

  • Is love really free?
    Jun 17 2025
    Is love really free?

If you have children, you love them unconditionally. But raising them, caring for them, guiding them, providing for them…has not been free.

As a person, it’s cost you a lot! Yet, you would not do it any other way.

True love is a great sacrifice. And the love that God has for us is free to us to receive. But it cost Him everything.

Ephesians 1 tells us that He has freely given us redemption, adoption, forgiveness. And we can freely receive it. It is a great gift!

And this is true love, sacrificial love. Real love. Not a trivial idea of free love, but a lay down your life kind of love.

Always remember there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau.

"He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. 8 He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding." Ephesians 1:7-8

  • Don’t do it!
    Jun 16 2025
Has anyone ever told you, “Go to hell!”?

Well, listen to me. I say to you, “Don’t do it!”

You were meant to live a life filled with purpose and joy.

Have you heard about Jesus? He’s real, and He can help you navigate life’s challenges and find true fulfillment.

He is the only true source of peace, purpose, and joy, even in difficult times. The power of His sacrifice on the cross will set you free from the mistakes and the sin of your past. He will give you life that is truly life—the abundant life that you were created for.

If you’re ready to move from hellish survival to thriving, take a moment to pray and ask Jesus to be Lord of your life. Pray with me now…

“Jesus, I want to know You and live life to the full with You. Please come into my life and show me Your way.”

Always remember, there is hope with God.

  • Honor God
    Jun 13 2025
Who have you honored in your life?

Maybe it’s a respected mentor or a parent.

We are created to give honor. And there is no one more deserving of honor than God. The apostle John describes a vision from God in Revelation 7,

“Every nation, every tribe and every people and language, [were] standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb (that’s Jesus) clothed in white robes [holding] palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a great roar, ‘Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!’”

God, the great giver, has granted us salvation, and He wants you to know Him today. His power will come and dwell within you, and you’ll be saved.

You can start a relationship with Him right now. Honor Him by giving Him your life!

Always remember, there is hope with God.

  • Foundation
    Jun 12 2025
The book of Isaiah in the Bible says this about God, “In that day (meaning in the day of disaster) he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge.”

What is the foundation of your life?

You don’t have to rely on your own strength or the stability of your circumstances. There is One who loves you; He is all-powerful. He has the ability to help you and to give you peace —peace that is not dependent on you or anything else in your life.

This hope only comes from one source. It’s God. He will be your sure foundation. He will give you love and hope that cannot be shaken. Why don’t you call out to Him today? He will carry you even when you cannot help yourself.

Always remember there is hope with God.

"In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure." Isaiah 33:6

  • Your Favorite Place
    Jun 11 2025
Think of your favorite place to go.

It could be a wonderful park full of nature or maybe a busy area in a bustling city that you love. Imagine yourself there in that place: the joy and delight that that place in this world brings to you.

Did you know that meeting with God in prayer is like going to your favorite place every single day? The joy that God gives us is deeper than any other sort of joy that the rest of the world offers us. Through the power of God, we’re able to have joy no matter what the circumstances.

Romans 12:2 says that through the Holy Spirit, our minds can be transformed. Imagine that! The transformation of your mind, your mind set upon God- the source of all goodness. This alone gives us a joy that is unchanging despite life’s challenges.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." Romans 12:2

  • Optimism
    Jun 10 2025
    Are you an optimist?

Even the most joyful people find themselves questioning their entire understanding of life when tragedy walks through their door.

If this has happened to you, I want you to know you are not alone. You are seen, and you’re understood by the very One who created you. Every tear you’ve cried, every question you’ve ever asked, He cares about you in every way.

God, the One who made you and knows you, He loves you completely…He is the true source of all goodness, joy, and power. Put your life in the hands of Jesus. Surrender it all to Him and trust that He will take care of you no matter what happens. He will never leave you.

Always remember there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau.
