We become a new self in Christ by the grace of God through the work of the Holy Spirit. We become like Christ as the Spirit of God gives us the power to put on the characteristics of the new self. Putting on these qualities calls for our active engagement in obedient faith. God is calling us for this purpose. Let’s hear and heed his call.
