Founded in 2020, the team at Trace drew from previous experience and relationships in the health and hemp industries to move into menstrual care—an area in serious need of revolution. Trace’s 100% plastic free tampons are made from hemp and cotton grown regeneratively, going beyond sustainability and healing the earth through soil restoration and carbon capture. When it comes to quality and traceability, we know every field our fiber comes from and exactly how it’s processed; we even know all our farmers and processors by name. We ensure equity at each step in our supply chain and manufacturing. We value menstruators’ bodies and health and know the health of one is the health of all, including our earth. That's why we use only natural fibers, and we don’t use glyphosate, chlorine bleach, or other harsh chemicals. We put the amazing, natural ingredients in our tampons front-and-center, honoring menstruating people’s autonomy in a landscape that hasn’t done so for decades.
