EP 63 - The History of The Japanese Internment Camps

  • Summary

  • Felipe and Butch are on a consistent focus on groups of people being rounded up and tossed into places against their will. The Japanese Internment Camps were no different and it happened in the US during WWII. The US government forcibly relocated and incarcerated approximately 120,000 Japanese and Japanese Americans in ten internment camps, primarily in the western interior, due to Executive Order 9066, a controversial measure based on wartime fears of espionage. The guys highlight the camps in California and give great detail as to the conditions Japanese and Japanese Americans went through.
