Day 354 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.

In Ezra 6, King Darius of Persia confirms a decree made by King Cyrus, allowing the Jews to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem. The temple is completed and dedicated with joyous celebrations. In Ezra 7:1-10, Ezra, a skilled teacher of God's laws, is granted permission by King Artaxerxes of Persia to go to Jerusalem. Ezra is happy because God's hand is guiding him to teach the people His laws. In Revelation 12, a vision shows a woman representing God's people, giving birth to a child who is taken to God's throne, while a dragon representing evil tries to attack them. The dragon is defeated and thrown to earth, where it continues to oppose the people of God. Revelation 13:1 introduces a beast, representing powerful and oppressive rulers, rising from the sea, empowered by the dragon, and opposing God and His people.
