A lot of interesting things went on throughout the year including: Eddie feuding with Ric Flair & Barry Windham leading to the return of Ricky Steamboat, Tommy wrestling Terry Funk in Amarillo and feuding with Lex Luger over the United States Championship, Doug wrestling Shane Douglas, Lance Russell leaving Memphis and signing with the NWA, the Rich Cousins wrestle three lunatics, Captain Redneck teams with a patriotic breakdancer??, Eddie & Rick Steiner win U.S. tag team championship gold, and much, much more!
