    When first responders arrived at the Roberts family home in the small town of Early, Iowa, on December 13 2001, they found 20-year-old Dustin Wehde lying in a pool of his own blood. The homeowner, Tracey Roberts, claimed she’d shot Dustin in an act of self-defence after he and another unknown assailant broke in and threatened to kill her and her children. As investigators looked into possible suspects, several persons of interest emerged. But all was not as it seemed.

One of the best true crime podcasts out there

If you love true crime definitely check this out. Some of the the crimes committed rightly come with a warning. Not for the easily upset or for children etc. The narrative is pleasant and easy to listen to, it's my therapy for when I can't sleep. Some fantastic multi episodes such as the golden state killer and the zodiac killer are truly compulsive listening!

True Crime coverage at its best.

The most thoroughly researched true crime podcasts that I have listened to and I have listened and watched an obscene amount. The narrator is easy to listen to. These are stories of real people and obviously the effects of all the cases ripple through families and communities, people should be remembered and their stories told, it's the least anyone can do. The podcasts are always told in an empathic way and many are cases I haven't heard before which is good.

Number 1 True Crime Podcast

I love this podcast, being a true crime fanatic there is no better then Casefiles. I’ve listen to every single episode.

Great in-depth, actually feels like your at the crime scene. The narrator is perfect, yes there is a few ads but they’re giving you this for free!

My only thing I would like to see is longer episodes i love it that much.

Advertisements from the start.

Didn't get past the first advert that was over a minute long. I'm going to guess that they're probably peppered throughout the 1 hour episode.
Not for me thanks; after all I pay a premium to audible each month.
I do not pay to sit through long advertisements on my commute.

Really not sure

This could have been a really interesting series but the narrator has a very monotone voice. I only listened to the first episode because as soon as I heard his voice on the 2nd I decided it wasn't for me .... sorry
