当番組のコンセプトは、「常識の1.5歩先へ　朝の情報を制するものがその日を制する」

「孫子の兵法」にもある有名な名言「情報を制するものが戦いを制する」。今から2500年以上も前に書かれた軍事思想家・孫武の名言の一つです。またマイクロソフト創業者のビル・ゲイツ氏は「ライバルに勝つか負けるかはいかに情報を収集、管理、活用するかで決まる」と言っています。生きた時代こそ違う二人ですが、二人の成功者が共通して我々に語り掛けることは、勝負に勝つために必要なものは「情報」である、ということです。
