Susan is a past President of the International Menopause Society and the Australasian Menopause Society and has received numerous prestigious research awards including the Elizabeth Blackburn Award of the NHMRC (2023), Ross Hohnen Award of the Australian Heart Foundation (2022), and the Medal of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Officer of the Order of Australia.
