July 8th 2014. After a week-long holiday with friends in Bulgaria, 28-year-old Lars Mittank arrived at Varna Airport to head home. But what started as a routine trip quickly turned strange. Lars began exhibiting erratic behavior before suddenly sprinting out of the airport. He scaled a barbed wire fence and disappeared into a nearby sunflower field, never to be seen again. His disappearance has since earned him the title of “the most famous missing man on YouTube.”
