كان المنظر الغريب يبدو كمشهدٍ من مشاهد مسرحية غامضة..وحجرة المكتب نفسها هي المسرح؛ كانت الحجرة كبيرة وبابها المفتوح على الشرفة المطلة على الحديقة يسمح لتيارٍ من الهواء بالدخول فيعصف بأوراق المكتب الضخم الذي يتصدّر الحجرة، وفي مواجهة المكتب في أقصى الغرفة بابٌ مغلق يؤدي إلى المعمل، ولكن المنظر المذهل فعلًأ كان بجوار هذا الباب..خزانة ضخمة مفتوح بابها على آخره والأستاذة سامية راقدةٌ تحته!!

نعم لقد اختفت أخطر وثائق علمية عرفها تاريخ الطب .. و سقطت العالمة الكبيرة فاقدة الوعي .. و الخزانة مفتوحة على مصراعيها ..

إنّها جريمة سرقة كاملة، و مع ذلك فقد أنكر صاحب الوثائق الطبيب الكبير أن شيئا قد سُرق !!

فهل ييأس المغامرون الثلاثة في حل هذا اللغز الغامض ؟
