Fantastic listen that could only be narrated by the author or it wouldn’t hold the same weight.

This is a book about the history of Hollywood buildings and people.
I thought it would be about Robert Wagner exclusively. But having said that it was all the more interesting. Well read and very entertaining I thought.

I liked the telling of the life story by picking different parts e.g. friends,eating places etc., and telling memories of them..Robert has had Good and tragic things happen in his life, and had some not very nice people inferring bad things to him as if it was not enough that he suffered...anyway,a good Auto biography,and very interesting as it takes One through old Hollywood..The actors..and the times..Thank you Robert.

The stories of how Hollywood came to exist were fascinating but the latter part of the book was boring to say the least,all those restaurants most of which I'd never heard of.Wagner was never a major star & the constant name dropping didn't convince me that he had been.
