Mindfulness That Feels Attainable

I enjoyed these lovely guided meditations
I highly recommend this audiobook during this normally very busy time of year to strengthen mindfulness and add some peace and calm to your routine. I especially enjoyed the guided meditations, which helped me squeeze in some peace and calm in the morning on my commute to work as well as at the end of each day. One thing I recommend is to adjust the listening speed to suit yourself. I found the narrator to speak rather slowly, but listening at 1.2X worked great for me. Others may like the slower pace, so do what works for you.

A Wonan's Stress-Buster
This audiobook got me hooked immediately. From the opening chapter up until the end, as a busy woman taking care of family and career, many scenarios resonated with me. I find the practical mindfulness strategies here useful, like mindfulness, self-compassion, and celebrating progress vs. perfection. I am motivated to try mindful breathing, the 4-7-8 technique, body scan, journaling and meditation into my stress-busting arsenal. I also appreciated the practical advice on trusting the process and believing in yourself for a woman at the crossroads of career transition, as this will be useful for my predicament. The techniques can be integrated into a woman’s daily routine. I highly recommend it.
