I bought the audiobook which was read well by the author but I'd recommend a paper or digital copy as there are many recipes, rituals and lists and so would be handy for reference. I'd never read about witches before and this was quite a comprehensive overview. The history of the gender-cide was eye-opening, sobering. The meanings assigned to oils, stones and seasons (and more) were soothing and interesting. If you're interested in knowing more about what a witch is (and was), the different types and how to incorporate any practices into your life, I'd definitely recommend this.

Exactly what I was looking for. Was interested in witchcraft and Wicca but never really understood what it meant to be a witch. This book has completely re wired my beliefs and impacted my life in such a positive and loving way. Would recommend to any one that feels a little lost with their witch journey.

I tried reading it but couldn't get into it. But hearing Lisa tell it as her story was so much more impactful for me! I've been a witch for many years and while I obviously I don't know it all I did think this would be a beginner's book. The message really helped to shake me up!

Yes it is such an amazing and powerful book. It has influenced my lifestyle change hugely.

Any additional comments?

Even though i love this book, so much!! I dont think much of it is useful as an audio book. Due to recipes/spells etc included in the book i found i was having to write a huge amount down while listening. I have now ordered the papercopy because of this.
