Sabine & Bastin/Wolf was well developed and well scripted. For me… the whole tale felt a little darker than what I expected, however … it was a very good unexpected. The landscape development was lush & rich. The characters fitting well within the story. The steam between the forbidden love interest was very steamy and if not careful such clandestine tryst will come to a head once in book two- as now we know all the key players and their motives & history. Hero’s & villains are about to be in their full element, open and on full display. And one can only wonder; WHAT NOW?!?!
Me… I’m about to go find such things out… the narration was very well done…
Ps … And Bastin’s character will definitely be in the running of future book boyfriend material. Just saying, (grinning)

But I got to mid chapter 13, be because I can't listen to another book, where the fmc and the mmc are crazy, against each other, for each other and then literally 5 mins later against each other and she was then planning to run away again!!
I don't know how the reality is in riding a horse naked for 21 days.
Horse sweat is a stinky mess! She has powers with animals and do not understand why she doesn't get cover for herself etc.
I was also shocked that it was agreed that it would be ok to travel so far on a horse. If he really cared and wanted to make Sabine his wife, why did he want to humiliate her??
I stopped listening!
