I like that the MCs, particularly Brook is a complex character, where some other books the characters can seem a little 2D. the author writes Brookes complex emotions well, able to express and highlight the difficulties or emotions in a clear way, showing understanding of the subject.
it's a bit of a slow burn. a tad frustrating at times but also understandable due to Brookes circumstance. I'm kinds stuck on Brooke if I'm honest, because I can relate to her very well. The epilogue had me sobbing.
some great characters within the story. abd of course, there's a puppy so what's not yo love!
Lori Prince is superb. she captures the characters perfectly.

nothing hurts and everything is brighter. the story was great a slow burner between two major characters. one who knows what rhey want the other trying to understand the situation. it was great to listen to Lori Prince narrating as she brought the characters to life.

frenemies to lovers, heartwarming tale of two people who didn't know why one disliked the other, snowed in together they vow to try getting along for the sake of the two friends they'd shared since college, brought closer by an abandoned puppy they spend more time together.
lovingly narrated I cried at the inflection Lori Prince brings to tearful joy
definitely one to cheer up lonely winter evenings again and again

what a brilliant story line with a couple stuck in a snow storm, really brilliant characters all the way through and really good narration and a very happy ending as well great 👍👍

This is gaar becoming my favourite author of lesbian romance and Lori is quickly becoming my favourite female voice over narrator. This book was breathtaking and held suspense so long I thought I was going to faint. so well written and well read I'm speechless

Push - The plot, characters, conflict, performance - all good, if not better. I finished this in one day 🤭.

Pull - Drawback for me is that I cannot empathize how one of the conflicts was minimized and took a backseat immediately. I guess, if it’s me, it would take time for me to move on from that situation - what is that conflict? Do buy and read 😂😅
