About this listen

From USA Today best-selling author, Marley Valentine comes a brand new, marriage in crisis, hurt/comfort, standalone, gay romance.

If someone asked me to describe our love story, I would only need to use two words.

Before and After.

When I met Leonardo Ricci, he was determined I would only be a fling, while I was certain he was my forever.

Seven years later, we’re the perfect couple. Happy, married, and in love–in sickness and health, till death do us part.

At least until the unthinkable happens.

Now we can’t look at each other. We don’t sleep in the same bed. We can’t even be in the same room. The loss is too great and the pain runs too deep.

But this man is the love of my life. I convinced him once, and I would be damned if I couldn’t do it again. I would be damned if I couldn’t fix what we broke.

After a tedious start, this book got great in the blink of an eye and stayed great. I’m grateful for my 2 favourite narrators because no way I was DNF’ing anything they read. I ended up loving these characters and this story was great. It was heartbreaking and equally heartwarming.

This was my first book of Marley’s but it definitely won’t be the last. I am so glad I started to listen to this during the morning because once I’d started I couldn’t stop. I was hooked from the first few seconds.

The story is full of heartache but Marley wrote it so well. I loved both main characters and really felt their pain. The narrator’s were absolutely fantastic and really helped to bring the story to life. I’m now off to download another of Marley’s books immediately.
