I really liked this story. All the characters are wonderful and I just love the storyline. It has suspense, drama, chemistry, twists and turns. I really loved how everything played out. Such a great listen.

So this is the third book in the series and still I just need a bit more depth on one or more of the MCs. This time we actually get to know the female MC very well and it’s very well written when the author explores her feelings and thoughts. There’s a lot of baggage that gets unraveled and handled, some parts better then others, but overall it creates the link to the MC that I personally need. However, what I know about the male MC can fit in three lines.
It’s a 3.5-4 ⭐️ book for me.

Riley Edwards continues to wow me with another amazing novel, the third in her “Gemini Group” series and I loved everything about it, from her wonderful writing style to the characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. Each book in this series features a different member of the Gemini Group team, their stories stand on their own but it would be beneficial to enjoy them in the order written, the epilogue introduces you to the next book and lead character for that book, plus characters crossover into each other’s books and seeing them again is like seeing an old friend. This book features Weston Beil and Silver Coyle, to say the two are like oil and vinegar would put it mildly, he is an alpha male looking out for her, she is a stubborn, independent woman who does not need someone to look out for her. When she finds herself in deep trouble, she was wishing Weston would come to her rescue, but she did not depend on it and would not be a sitting duck, except she did not stand a chance. She did not stand a chance with Weston either, once he set his claim on her he would not give up on her despite her stubbornness. They may have rescued Silver from that boat, but she was still in deep waters, the drug dealers lost a lot of money and they were not done with her. Weston and the Gemini group will keep her safe, but she still has a mind of her own and a strong will. Weston met his match with Silver, she gives as good as she gets, the chemistry between them is sizzling hot. I loved how everything played out in this book and, like the first two books, it is a fast-paced, cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. Riley Edwards, thank you for another brilliant story and these amazing characters, I am loving to getting to know them all.

🎧📚🎧Erin Mallon and Joe Arden’s name and reputation speak for themselves, you know you are in for a treat with them at the helm or rather the mike. They are entertaining storytellers and versatile voice artists, their narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. I love how they take each role and make it their own, sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound. Joe Arden’s Weston was spot on, the perfect demanding alpha who was not afraid to show his caring side, and Erin Mallon killed it as Silver grasped her willful and vibrant personality and was a natural in her role. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Gemini Group is a fantastic romantic suspense series! I am loving getting to know each member, how they all have each other's backs and the situations they find themselves in. Installment 3 features Weston. He is a former SEAL, and takes his job very seriously. Looking out for the reckless Silver is part of the job. Silver is independent, takes on what she thinks she can handle and finds herself in a situation where Weston's help may have saved her life. But she is not willing to give into his protection easily. These two are at each other, striving for dominance, just to be the foreplay to their amazing chemistry. Once Weston realizes Silver's softer side, he is a goner and will do anything to protect her. Riley Edwards keeps their animosity going, the suspense high and the danger lurking. I love her stories, the camaraderie between her characters and the love that builds in her couples. She is an amazing romantic suspense author!

Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are perfectly cast for this story. Arden keeps he protectiveness high with Weston, his alpha in the front with an air of tenderness. Mallon understands Silver's independent streak, her vulnerability and need for love. She uses her voice with inflections and nuances to bring it all out. An amazing performance for this fantastic book.

I love the men in the Gemini Group!! This is book 3 and I really enjoyed Weston's alpha personality with Silver's strong personality. They definitely butted heads, but ended up being a great match.

This series is so well-written, and even though there is an arc and the stories should be ready in order, they are great stand-alone books as well.

One of the things I love about these books are the fable characters. They’re intelligent, strong, capable, and often working in traditionally male-dominated females. Silver is no different. She’s a graduate of the merchant marines and an accomplished boat captain in her own right. When she learns someone is using her boat to transport illicit drugs, she decides to do something about it. Her act of bravery catches the attention of the wrong people. Luckily, Weston from the Gemini Group comes to the rescue but the danger is far from over.

Silver is tough as nails- she has to be. Weston finds himself falling for her, but her unwillingness to accept help and her guarded personality puts her at risk until she begins to learn to trust Weston.

This book, like the others, is such a wonderful listen. Time goes by so fast, that I’m trying to savor the series before it’s over too quickly. Erin Mallon and Joe Arden, as always, completely make this book come to life.

I voluntarily reviewed this audiobook. Weston and Silver didn’t start on good grounds, but - fortunately that changes quickly. A very intense story that has some hilarious dialogues which the narrators excel at in delivering.

Oohhhhh I love a man who is able to be strong, and direct (in the best way) his partner to where they need to be. And boy is Weston this man.

Silver is an emotional mess, you wouldn’t think it but when you scratch the surface it’s there and it’s deep. Weston doesn’t shy away from this and during this story there are several conversations that could totally be uncomfortable given their argumentative nature, but Erin Mallon and Joe Arden really bring to life the desperate nature of Silvers desire to NOT be like this and the strength Weston has to carry her through.

I loved the underlying story and there were several key scenes for me that I could listen to over and over. The countertop (obviously!), the scene with Silvers dad and when Silver calls Weston to come get her when she left in his jeep. All of these give me the best of feels and demonstrates what an awesome job these narrators have done with the fabulous story Ms Edwards seems to have written with them in mind!!!

Engaging and intriguing, this story moves at a pace and you hardly notice the time passing whilst you listen.

Treat yourself and buy this whole series, you won’t be disappointed I’m sure (but I’m off to listen to Alec’s story just to be certain 😊.

This is the third book in the series and I think I have found an interesting pattern, In each book, Riley Edwards seems to focus on one particular aspect of a healthy relationship above the rest. In this book, it appears to be about trust. Silver Coyle didn't have a happy childhood. Her mother put her down and her father, though loving for the most part, was selfish. She didn't trust them to have her back and, as such, learned to be entirely self-contained and self-reliant. Then she discovers that there may be major drug running affecting her work and she has to rely on Gemini Group to correct the issue. That is where she butts heads with Weston. The chemistry between them is explosive. When they stop fighting each other, Weston realizes that Silver is his treasure but he has a lot to fight through to win her trust.

I enjoyed this audiobook. In fact, I am enjoying the whole series in order. The men are over the top alpha and each of them has his own personal issues to address as well as the relationship challenges to contend with. The women are smart and capable. And the chemistry..... oooo la la!
