Die grauen Augen erstaunen nicht mehr – dahinter denkt es noch weiter, wenn auch das Schiff schon im Sinken wäre. Es sinkt aber nicht. Auf den großen Händen mit den Sommersprossen wachsen rötliche Härchen. Der Mensch isst gut, er fühlt sich gesund, kräftig, im Vollgefühl einer Macht. Ich weiß nicht, welcher.
