Great story
Very good narration, of a really different and interesting story, Makes a change from the usual 'Zombie' type end of the world scenario

How do you pronounce Malinois??
The book started quite well and I enjoyed the first couple of hours except for the terrible pronunciation of the dog breed that was Max. How could they get such a central part of the story so wrong?
A couple of hours in everything went downhill and it turned into gone with the wind, the apocalypse edition. Perhaps if I’d held out and listened a bit longer it would’ve turned back into the gritty, end of the world book that I started to enjoy at the beginning.
Really not worth wasting your time on.

Vast range of characters was good
Nice listen, easy to keep up with although maybe to much romance and not enough action

An excellent series, and couldn’t stop listening.
A non stop entertaining series of books, funny and sad with loads of action, and expertly narrated.

Disappointing
I didn't finish the last book as I no longer cared about what happened to the characters.
A burning question - why does an apocalypse turn 90% of the male population into drug addicts, thugs and sexuall predators?!

Right up my apocalyptic street
Saw this trilogy on the plus catalog and thought I’d give them a go. Wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed all 3 books which I think are quite well written and preformed really well. If you liked The Borrowed World or home you will probably like these. Big thanks to the author and narrator.

Great binge listen
Sometimes you just need to be in the mood for a emp disaster book which is just over the top and written by a male (you can really tell the difference between a male and female author of apocalypse stories). I am not saying that it is bad - I listen to the them both depending on my mood and this one just fitted the box based on my mood. I liked the way it was all in one so I could binge listen.
As others have said trigger warnings re dogs which did make me feel sad and it did work with the story but still.
