About this listen
Alpha Elias Dulaine is a veteran with scars both internal and external from his years of service, things he's worked hard to move past. He lives a solitary life, focusing on his job as a wolf trainer for guide purposes and support for the disabled. He longs for his other half, a mate to care for and call his own. He's certain that he'll know when the right one comes along, and he's happy to wait as long as he must to find them. When a beautiful, blind omega comes to him to get a guide wolf, he's certain that he's finally found his "one".
Blind omega Willow Jackson has had the worst run of luck with love, but despite all his terrible experiences, he still believes in love and longs for it. All he wants is an alpha to love him for who he is, someone who will make him feel safe. When he meets an alpha veteran with just as many scars as him, who makes him feel things he never thought he could, Willow thinks that perhaps he is the "one" that he's been waiting for.
©2021 Jett Masterson (P)2021 Jett MastersonThe story however was not so strong for me.There are several things that anoyed me. Calling a male omega ' mother' does not make sense to me. I like the concept, how unlikely but this is fiction, of special needs support wolves however I do not see how they where described different than dogs .
The 'mating and also the birthing scene between Elias and Willow seems 'shifter like' in behaviour and U seriously double checjed if I missed the shifter part of the description.
The things I really liked is Willow being a strong individual who happens to be blind. The scenting to help find specific persons and to give comfort through that. And both these mwn their big hearts for students, wolves, their boys and for their 'sweet surprise' in the last chapter. 📚 4-
Lovely narrator, story could be better

She is truly talented and you can picture these characters in your imagination as you read/listen. I was totally hooked and have listened to this book over and over again. 💜💜
Amazing everyone must listen to this 💜

I really want to like this story but it’s simply too sweet and the story doesn’t move forward - and there’s not much of a story which unfortunately makes the book boring.
The narration, however, is great.
Sweet but that’s it

I'm all for a slow burn and I love the story itself. It could be a very sweet romance but its just so emotionally cut off. I'm not feeling what the characters are feeling but I'm only being told what the characters are feeling rather than experiencing it with them. You know?
And it's written like the author is trying to make up the word count. Like how we did with essays in school? When we said the same thing 3 different ways so that we can boost the word count from 500 words to 2000.
It also reminds me of a roleplay. The way its written is like someone has copied and pasted an RP with two OCs then edited it to flow a little better.
I just needed to rant about it bc it has so much potential, so much, but the way its written is making it harder to read than reading the Hobit when I was 5.
I'm on chapter 16. Does it get any better? If the writing stays in this "tell not show" style, i don't think I can read anymore.
awful writing
