About this listen
Baseball! Suspense! Michael Connelly decided to become a writer after discovering the books of Raymond Chandler while attending the University of Florida. He has written 17 books, including 12 featuring LAPD Detective Hieronymus Bosch. His novels consistently debut at number-one on the New York Times best-seller list. His most recent is Echo Park, released in October 2006. Connelly's books have been translated into 31 languages and have won the Edgar, Anthony, Macavity, and Shamus awards, as well as many others, both in the U.S. and internationally. "Two Bagger" was his first short story, originally published in 2001 in the anthology Murderer's Row>.
©2001 Michael Connelly; 2001 Otto Penzler; 2001 Elmore Leonard (P)2007 Phoenix AudioAs for the bonus book. The same applies but in triplicate. I wouldn't give it 1 star for storyline but the performance was good I suppose!
You could tell that Connelly could tell a story. I'm glad that he didn't limit his storytelling to baseball.
If you're not into baseball, give this a miss!
