The spoken word is perfectly suited to Poe's narration and adds another level of intensity to the tale. If you close your eyes it's almost like Poe is there with you, relating the story of his strange journey and pulling you into his macabre world.
Would definitely recommend treating your ears and giving this a listen.
An unsettling gothic journey with Edgar Allen Poe
