Because Paris is always a good idea...

Years ago, Juliet left a little piece of her heart in Paris - and now, separated from her husband and with her children flying the nest, it's time to get it back!

So she puts on her best red lipstick, books a cosy attic apartment near Notre-Dame and takes the next train out of London.

Arriving at the Gare du Nord, the memories come flooding back: bustling street cafés, cheap wine in candlelit bars and a handsome boy with glittering eyes.

But Juliet has also been keeping a secret for over two decades - and she begins to realise it's impossible to move forwards without first looking back.

Something tells her that the next thirty days might just change everything...

This was really good, I was left guessing till the end of course and I’d recommend

A nice middle aged story

I love Emlia Fox however, her narration was so stiff. Her diction was perfection but far too pronounced for this particular story

Nice story, if a little dull

Loved this book . Very attractive descriptions of Paris making me want to visit after 20 years of not being there. Story was lovely, but a little predictable but enjoyable nonetheless and I enjoyed listening. Not maybe one of Veronica’s best ones but still quality. Wasn’t keen on Emilia Fox’s narration. For an actress I would have expected a better performance from her…. Very flat and unemotional…. A better narration would have really lifted this lovely story.

Another Veronica triumph

Enjoyed visiting Paris for 30 days reflecting on my own pathway as a tourist and the naming of many sites equally as exciting through someone else’s eyes!!
The story was a twist and a test to one’s character ! Loved how people became brave and the return to Paris held its own !

A visit to Paris

I usually am a great fan of Veronica Henry and wait for her new titles but this did not hit the mark for me personally at all. I found it dull, twee and a little irritating. The heroine has little to like about her and the characterisation in general is poor, I didn't become invested in any of the characters. i agree with other readers that there was a great deal of scene setting about Paris and little substance to the story and plot. not worth the money for me at all.

Not her best
