About this listen
In the dark, they are watching...
They are waiting for you.
No one has ever lived to tell the horrifying truth about them. Yet even now the Wolfen are gathered in the night-dark alleys ... unseen, poised ... ready to destroy their helpless human prey. Only one man and one woman, trained cops, willing to risk their lives, stand in the way.

a masterpiece of its genre.
I remember purchasing and reading this book on its initial release superbly narrated and a thoroughly good listen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The book is far superior... story, pacing and lore wise. This audio version is pretty good. The narrator is good although a lack of diversity in accents for different characters is a minor drawback, he brings the cragginess of Albert Finney and Diane Venora's first movie role to mind as you listen.
What's missing is something to distinguish the Wolfen passages, an effect or even music to take you more into their headspace.
But as a purchase rather than freebie I'm happy, would love to see an updated version for Netflix or Amazon... Also hilarious how some of the tech like the big camera that's. Big plot point is now 35 quid and standard on most homes and buildings...
Better Than The Film... Needs A New TV Adaptation
