Escaping into the darkness on a snowy night, she stumbles onto an isolated farm, and into the arms of a handsome farmer. Loved this story and already have listened to it a couple of times.

One soul lonely and another soul terrified.

Ned is a farmer who has been widowed 2 years. It was a loveless marriage and all his life consists of is his farm.

In the middle of the night someone bangs on his door and when he opens it there is Grace, frozen and terrified. She has leapt from a carriage that is taking her to an arranged marriage, to a man who is a brute.

Well, he looks after her and guards her from harm ,she sees he is a kind and caring man and falls in love with him as he does her.

The story develops into a wonderful love story .If you get this hopefully you will enjoy. it

Philip Battley is a wonderful narrator.
