About this listen

Audie Award Finalist, Romance, 2014

Nestled on the Oregon coast is a small town of rocky beaches and rugged charm. Locals love the land’s unspoiled beauty. Developers see it as a potential gold mine. When newcomer Hank Cooper learns he’s been left an old friend’s entire beachfront property, he finds himself with a community’s destiny in his hands. Cooper has never been a man to settle in one place, and Thunder Point was supposed to be just another quick stop. But Cooper finds himself getting involved with the town. And with Sarah Dupre, a woman as complicated as she is beautiful. With the whole town watching for his next move, Cooper has to choose between his old life and a place full of new possibilities. A place that just might be home.

A pleasure to start rereading this series.

I read this series a number of years a go however did not review it at the time. So in this book we meet cooper again who briefly appeared in the virgin river series however he has come to thunder point to learn the truth about the death of his friend Ben. As he starts renovations on bens bar and bate shop with the intention of selling he starts to get involved in the town and befriends star Quarterback Landon dupray and his sister Sarah who have problems of there own. I love this series and i am looking forward to rereading the rest of the books. Robyn Carr is great at these small town series, you really start to feel like part of the community as you get to know the characters. Although each book focuses on two main characters the rest of the town are heavaly involved in all there stories.

couldn't finish

I was excited to listen to these books in the plus catalogue as I love watching the virgin river series on Netflix
I just couldn't keep my interest in this story, I'm not sure what it was but I just found it boring and nothing mutch happens at all, plus I kept getting lost with what was happening, but that could be because it wasn't holding my attention so my mind started thinking about what I needed from the shop lol
