I've quite often listen to children's books so I can recommend books to my seven year old son and so I know what he's listening to and I just love these books. The characters are great and likeable, I laughed often whilst listening and the performance of the book makes it really enjoyable too!

I am 52 and still devoured this. highly recommended if you need an easy comforting listen. adored the first book and am about to dive straight into the third

Good story although not quite as fast paced or well developed as the first book and I feel there's not as much story development either. The final ending is rather rushed, which is a shame given that some of the 'action' parts are really quite wordy, when all you really want is a bit less description & people panicking and a bit more of them getting on with it.
Listening to it I was reminded of Pratchett's Witches Abroad and The Crystal Maze. A good romp of a listen.
Speaking of listening, the narrator has a slightly odd way of speaking. Words, and especially consonants, seem to take her a longer while to pronounce!
