Wow! Let me start off saying Sarah and Aaron did an amazing job. I really fell in love with the characters. Great start to this story.

Ok so this is the story of Ember who sees her life upside down when she discovers that there is this Joseph MacGregor who wants to end her family and is adamant on kidnapping her.... and that she can time travel!! I loved this prequel so much I am already nagging the author to know more about all the characters *sorry for that Anna*
Seriously, I just love it when a story flows seamlessly and makes you want to know more about all the characters.
I loved Rane and Ember and I am definitely eager to see what happens to them next.
I am also so curious as to Patrick, Jac and Finn and don’t even get me started on grandma Florence with her seemingly detached attitude. I bet she has some stories to tell.
Also what I liked a lot is the twist on the sexy highlander. Don’t get me wrong I love sexy highlander heroes but it was refreshing to get a sexy highlander baddie as well.
So now, I am off to listening to book 1 because I just can’t wait to know what happens next..

Fast paced and exciting, Anna Applegate's The Time Traveler's Awakening is just enough to whet your appetite for more! I was in, hook, line and sinker! Ember's family has been keeping a secret from her, trying to keep her safe, so when she first leaps into time travel, it's shocking. Now with her first experience down, she has met Rane, and he is not what he appears. Will Ember be taken in by him? Can she trust him? And what about their attraction? This is so quick, and so well written, I couldn't believe it was over. Time travel with a paranormal character spin leaves us wanting! I can't wait to hear more!

This casting is spot on! I love Sarah Puckett's performance. She has so many cool voices and she nails them all. There were lots of characters, and even so raspy men and some with accents that she just easily conjures up and makes the characters her own. She is very talented and keeps me on track with who is speaking, giving me the most entertainment for my listen. Aaron Shedlock provides the epilogue, and sets us up for the next book. If his voice for this is any indication of how it's going to be, I am sold, and cannot wait for this incredible character! I am very excited!

The Time Traveler’s Awakening by Anna Applegate is a time travel paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and Aaron Shedlock. This is the prequel to the Magic Bound Saga.

This is the first book of Anna’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last! I loved the chemistry between Ember and Rane. I cannot wait for the first book in the series The Time Traveler’s Magic to be released on audio.

Sarah and Aaron did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life.

I would highly recommend this book if you love time travel romance or paranormal romance.

This is a fascinating start to what is going to be an amazing series. It is my first book written by Anna Applegate, I enjoyed her writing style and her creative and imaginative mind. The storylines are interesting and original, they easily grabbed my attention and held it captive straight to the end. The fascinating characters are well developed, likable, easy to relate to and connect with. Ember Brighton a hard working college student with goals of becoming a doctor. But she soon learns there is more to the world than what meets the eye, she also learns there is more to her own family, herself included. This book sets the foundation for future books in the series, the author does a great job blending fantasy, paranormal, time travel and romance into her story. The book runs under four hours but it packs a lot of details and story, there is plenty of drama, a touch of angst, action, a touch of thrilling suspense, some heartfelt moments and the start of what is going to be an epic romance. Thank you Anna Applegate for this fantastic story, I am looking forward to hearing more from Rane, hopefully Finn, Jac & Patrick too. I hope it comes to Audible soon.

Sarah Puckett and Aaron Shedlock are fabulous narrators. They were perfectly casted to bring the characters to life. Sarah did an awesome job covering the roles for all the characters up to the epilogue when Aaron Shedlock steps in and takes the reign as Rane. Their performances are perfection, these two are entertaining storytellers and it is always a pleasure to listen to their work. Thank you for another awesome listen.

Time Traveler’s Awakening is the prequel to the Magic Bound Saga and is a time travel paranormal romance. I’ve never read or listened to this author before, and I can’t wait for the book in this series! I really enjoyed the story line and even though this is a shorter listen, there are plot twists you won’t see coming!

Ember is a college student and still living at home. She comes home one day to have her whole world turned upside down. There are things she never knew about about her family, things that are now putting their lives at risk. She is determined to help and ends up meeting Rane. They have instant chemistry, but will she ever see him again? Dang, this girl hands some tough decisions to make.

The cliffhanger at the end has left me wanting SO MUCH MORE!! I need the next book stat!!

Sarah and Aaron did a fabulous job narrating this story! They truly brought these characters to life!

I need more! honestly cannot wait to know more about these characters. The story was amazing, I was so enthralled from beginning to end and couldn't stop listening.
It is well written, fast paced and captivating. I need to know more, there are many things that I don't know yet and I am dying for the next book.
The narration was fenomenal, Sarah Puckett narration are amazing and this wasn't the exception. Aaron Shedlock only got to narrate the epilogue but did do well as per usual.

I really like the idea behind this book. It has really made me want to know more. I have so many questions about not only the characters but the story and what is going to happen next! Aaron Sherlock and Sarah Puckett do a fabulous job on the narration, and I got so sucked into the story. Well worth a listen.

This is an awesome start to the Magic Bound Saga by Anna Applegate we ho is s as new author to me. So much detailed information in this prequel to the series.

The narration was superb. We mainly hear Sarah Puckett in this prequel because this first instalment is an introduction to Ember finding out about time travel and mystical beings. Then at last we hear Aaron Shedlock as Rane Anderson. Both do amazing and I’m immediately going onto the next book.

So much to hear in this audiobook. There something for everyone who loves paranormal, magic or time travel. There some angst and thankfully this is only the prequel because yes it’s that good!
