About this listen
Two of the greatest science fiction classics of all time...in one collection!
H.G. Wells (1866 -1946) - the master of the genre - created his "scientific romances" and set the standard for futuristic literature that also teemed with both social commentary and a prescient view of the world to come.

Having seen the movies but never read the books I found them interesting. While the characters seemed mild by the standard of today they provided a window into the thinking of H. G. Wells.
Overall the books were good but not overly great. The narration was outstanding though I have to say I don't know what the accent of English gentlemen would have been in the 1890s I assume this approximation is close.
This book was provided free of charge with the expectation of an honest review.
