YA sci-fi romance, 40 hrs into the series and I've had to stop listening as I couldn't take the melodrama anymore.

Narrator does his best to bring the story to life but you can only do so much with the material written.

The time disappeared whilst listening. Enthralling! There is not a slow part, the story rolls from one peak to another.

Know others have commentated on all the misery. Agree at times it just seemed a bit relentless, one thing after another. But got really engrossed in the characters and story. Wish the author maybe concentrated a bit more on some of the funnier fringe characters eg Guts, Pellegrin, Grechen ( not sure if spelling is correct) etc. Just to lighten the mood a bit.

Well paced story of A boy and a girl who hold the future of all of civilisation i their future. Gifts from bird like goddesses to allowfolk to do amazing feats with the environment and their bodies.
Foring friendships, relationships and going through awful events in a bid to bring back a world separated quarrelling godess siblings in an exceptionally well spoken narrator. the acents denoting the "species/race" is a masterclass and the expressiveness of his voice had lumps in the throat, tears in the eyes and smiles on the face al through the book.

Enjoy the well crafted work and excellent performance

Great performance and story, great premise/ideas, twist and turn’s really drew you in, I got so frustrated with some of the characters to the point of shouting at my phone and even stopped listening for a few days in annoyance.
However like all good stories it drew me back in.
