I think this would probably would be better aimed at a teenage audience.
Enjoyed the first half better but it was a little predictable, although loved the concept.

A slower burn than Wayward, but engrossing nevertheless. I really enjoyed this book, particularly the stories of Mary and Eliza.

I really liked “Wayward” but “The Sirens” is absolutely brilliant! I just loved everything about it, the characters, the setting, the intertwined stories and the narrators were all great. Really great listen 🧜🏻‍♀️

One narrator was very fast and one slow, really irritating narration as a result.
Story started off with some interesting ideas but seemed to fizzle with one storyline not being resolved. Disappointing overall.

This book was really engaging from the start right through to the end. I listened to the whole thing over 2 days!
Narration is fantastic and I really enjoyed the characters being represented with their own voices.

I absolutely loved the authors first novel and this, her second, does not dissappoint. Beautiful, lyrical prose, a lovely performance by the readers, you'll be drawn in by the sirens song, this book was gripping from start to finish. I'm just sad that will have to wait for the next book the author writes.

if you're looking for a Wayward rewrite this isn't it. alas, this is an awesome story initself. Emilia is a fantastic writer and builds her worlds so eloquently. You can't help to be fully emersed within her stories. Although a tad predictable you do not care for the flow of the story is just magnificent and magical. 10/10
