About this listen

Most college-aged girls go to Europe to experience their sexual awakening. All I had to do was go home.

Ford Dalton isn’t the kind of man I’d look at twice—because I can’t stop looking at him at all. We can’t take our hands off each other in the bar. Back at his house, it’s our lips. And in his bed? There isn’t a single part of us that’s not on fire. One night would never be long enough for Ford to show me every delicious thing he can do to my body.

But there’s something he’s keeping from me: he’s already met the love of his life, his daughter Everly. And there’s something I’m keeping from him: I just applied for the job of my dreams, being Everly’s new nanny.

Disappointed 😞

This is #3 of the series and can be read as a standalone, but it's best to read in order to understand the dynamics of the family.

I'm sorry to say that I found the book a real let down, having just finished When Ashes Fall, by the same author, which was excellent.

I was so looking forward to reading this and it was just dull.

You didn't get to find out about the inner Ford, only how gorgeous he was, so there was no character development there.

His daughter was cute but that seemed to go waaaay over the top and as for Sydney - sheer perfection! Again there wasn't much development there and I did get the feeling that she was in the wrong job - she should have been a baker!

The narration was absolutely shocking and I hope the author goes back to the original narrators of the series, as this really ruined it for me.

So, sorry, it's a no from me!

Total anti climax and awful narration

So gutted as I was really anticipating this 3rd book in the series.

Unfortunately it’s started off the exact same as the other two, man meets woman and sleeps with her on first night they meet and then falls madly in love and he is obsessed with her. Was hoping for a more enticing beginning or something different from the first two.

But I could of got through if it wasn’t for the male narrators voice. It was awful! The way he voices Everley is just ridiculous! The way he voiced the characters made me cringe far to much to continue. Had to abandon the book in the end as I couldn’t stand it any long. Such a shame!
