About this listen

Eli Bennett.

Magnetic. Outspoken. Infuriating.

Top-ranked college quarterback. Sexy. Funny.

Oh, and now my ex-boyfriend.

When he makes me choose between him or a once in a lifetime opportunity, I surprise us both and don’t choose him. He can’t tell me what to do. Besides, he’ll get over my so-called betrayal and we’ll be back together in no time.

But when I return from my European study abroad program, Eli is still angry. He wants me to apologize for leaving him. I want him to apologize for giving me an ultimatum. Looks like we’re at a standstill.

He’s playing the season of his life thanks to him channeling his anger into aggressiveness out on the field, and now he’s got NFL prospects. His every dream is coming true, but I know he misses me. He still wishes he had his parents’ approval. He’s on top of his game, but secretly, he’s miserable.

Until a life-changing moment has us both reconsidering what we’re going to do with our lives. And if we’re going to end up …

Together.

This edgy bully romance contains dark scenes some listeners may find uncomfortable to hear. Listener discretion is advised.

Wonderful series and wonderful narrators CJ Bloom is the best narrator. A&E were my favourite couple in the series so glad they featured in so many books. Wish we had seen more of Autumn & Ash hopefully they will get more books to. Jackson & Eli were my least favourite.

The whole series was so good

This was definitely the most emotional book in the series and I can say I shed a tear or two, just because I related a lot to Ava near the middle-end of the book. It was heartfelt how much they loved each other, but as they grow and change they break up and they have to decide if they actually belong together. This book really was a rollercoaster ride. It was a great wrap up to the series. This series is great but must be read in order otherwise spoilers will occur. There are some triggering content so make sure to check those.

Most emotional book of the series!

I really enjoyed getting to read Eli and Ava’s story. It’s such an emotional one and I really felt for them. These character’s had many depths to them, that really added to them as a couple. The writing as usual flowed really well and I was immediately hooked in. Getting to see their development as individuals and as a couple, from when we first meet them in The Freshman, you get to watch them grow into these characters that start to look at the bigger picture in all aspects of their lives. Highly enjoyable, quick, easy read, that I recommend picking up.
