About this listen

I've spent the last two years playing the deadliest game of hide and seek.

My tormentor knows no bounds, and I'm done being his prey. In another new city, I'm hoping this is the place where I finally find peace and those parts of myself I've lost along the way. New name, new hair, new clothes…new me. I'm determined for it to stick this time, desperate for a quiet existence to escape the horrors chasing me. The last thing I expect to find is more of what I'm running from.

Violence. Murder. Manipulation.

Except here, three dangerous men have me in their sights. Instead of wanting to clip my wings and keep me in a gilded cage, they're offering me something I have long forgotten—Freedom.

When trouble comes calling, and nightmares crawl out of shadows... Don't you want the biggest monsters on your side?

The Secrets We Keep is a dark reverse harem romance duet intended for mature listeners.

Good story not sure on female narrator

This was a good story but slow in some places, the female narrator had a dreary voice which sometimes dragged down the female character’s inner monologue.

meh

I was really hoping for a compelling escape with The Secrets We Keep, but this audiobook left me thoroughly disappointed, earning only 2 stars out of 5. The narration feels flat and uninspired—what should have been a doorway into the story instead became a monotonous recitation that made it hard to stay engaged. The pacing drags in places, with uneven transitions that further disrupt any sense of immersion. Despite the promising dark reverse harem romance concept, the overall production and performance just don't do it justice, leaving me wishing I had invested my time elsewhere.
