Be kind to yourself.
There was a time I’d eat just because I was sad, bored, or stressed. I didn’t even feel hungry! Food just felt like comfort. I tried diets, but they never lasted. I always ended up feeling worse when I couldn’t stick to them.
This audiobook was different. It didn’t tell me what to eat or make me feel bad. It helped me understand why I was eating when I wasn’t hungry. The self-hypnosis and calming words made me feel safe, like I could breathe again. I started to feel more in control, not by force but by really listening to myself.
