I was skeptical about this book at first. The only reason i bought it cos iam interested to know more about the sub conscious mind.I read few reviews on amazon about the title and decided to buy. The opening few chapters are bit daunting and reminded me of "the power of positive thinking" by Norman vincent peale. In heinsight book is worth reading it rather listening it unless you are making notes. T

Sad that such a classic and brilliant book (which I have in paper form) has been read here by someone who hasn't a clue on how to read in an interesting and non-robotic manner.

I truly wonder whether he is out to just get through it whilst trying to mimic a machine....

Vastly different to The Secret and other Law of Attraction books. The physiology of the brain can only change through understanding, re-education, and repetition of the new learnings - Murphy's book explains what we need to know and why it happens, and gives good affirmation examples. You can find more Joseph Murphy affirmations on YouTube that are spoken to music and I've been listening to them as I fall asleep, and again when I wake.

I discovered the power of the subconscious mind 2 years ago when I learned about the mind-body connection relative to emotions playing a part in chronic unexplained pain(or any pain for that matter). Much to my disbelief I turned my life around in record time from being crippled with severe muscular spasms in my back, to a complete cure. Neurologists were stunned, and so was I, but it works.

Murphys book is the best 'subconscious mind' book I've read since my life changing learnings which was a book by Steve Ozanich - The Great Pain Deception. And also another by Dr. John Sarno called The Mindbody Prescription.

Books like The Secret have their benefits but without a deep understanding and good grasp of the realities of the subconscious mind, then books like The Secret can be quite dangerous for the untrained novice.

You will not regret purchasing The Power of your Subconscious Mind.
