About this listen

Nothing will ever be the same again.

Sharona Waters is determined to dig into loan shark Dessie Dolan’s business and see him brought to justice. But when a young woman she’s only briefly met goes missing, a much darker story emerges. I usually love Irish narrators, but this wasn’t a favourite narrator for me.
There are multiple intertwining threads that give plenty of interest. It’s quite dark and gritty, but at the same time there’s some moving sensitive scenes.
For me I think I would have enjoyed reading the book more

A fusion between gangland and twisty crime
