About this listen

Prepare to meet the "Young Frankenstein" of the Shakespearean world.

Tim Hamlet is the identical twin brother of the famously melancholy Danish prince. Tim has walked away from royal life, hoping to forge his own identity in London. But when tragedy strikes, Tim decides to return home. On his journey, Tim encounters a raging tempest, terrifying demons (of both the personal and supernatural variety), Russian pirates, bad improv, and much more...all while on a collision course with fate.

The tragically funny and funnily tragic adventure will keep you on your toes, never knowing what exactly will happen next. Whether you're a Shakespeare novice or a certified Bard-oholic, you'll love The Other Hamlet Brother.

This is an interesting alternative take on a classic novel. Tim is an intriguing character doing his own thing in the theatres of the UK before setting off back to his home country. I can't say the story was gripping but it held my attention enough to listen to the very end. Steve Connor did a decent job of the narration but there were numerous bad edits that stood out. Recommended listen for enthusiasts of the genre.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.
