This was a slow burner for me and I almost gave up. Really pleased i didn’t. Great narration.

First off if your considering reading this book at all audiobook is definitely the best format as there a short podcast segments scattered through with are really well done and work best when you listen to them.
This isn’t a edge of your seat thriller but a very dark story with some very hard to read but important topics. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys true crime or reading about social issues.

Really enjoyed the story, so glad I listened to the audiobook. I did feel like it was a little over explanatory in some parts. But overall a great listen.

Im on chapter 10 and I’m not interested in finishing this book rn. The reviews are very positive however this book is so slow, no suspense and the author is too fixated on describing the setting than the characters. Additionally, I just didn’t like how it’s in third person.
